Romero extends contract with AZ

AZ ALKMAAR-the contract of Sergio Romero (21) broke open
andextended until 2013. The Olympic champion had a contract until
2012.Romero plays since the 2007-2008 season for AZ. There he notched
in hisnative Argentina for Racing Club.
"It is an honor for this club to play," said the goalkeeper whothis season alone AZ'er not have a minute missed. "I'm pleased withthis contract renewal, but I prefer me now focus on the game onSaturday against Heracles."
