SOLARI: "IMPORTANT GOAL REACHED"
Santiago Solari played a bit part in seeing Inter through to their second consecutive Tim Cup final with goals in both semi-final legs against Udinese.
"We played a good game today and we have achieved an important goal.
But we still have two more Tim Cup games to win to lift this cup,"
the Argentine winger said.
Asked if he has woken up a bit late after his recent good performances for Inter, Solari replied: "It's not a matter of waking up early or late. Other
team-mates played before, now I'm playing more. The most important thing
for me is to be at the service of the coach and play for the team."
With Inter safely through to their ninth domestic cup final the attention
turns to Friday's Milan derby. "We will play with our heads held high and
impose ourgame and try to win. Second place hangs on Friday's match, but
we can still aspire to something more."
