Vieri injured in Monaco draw
Christian Vieri will undergo tests after limping out of Monaco’s 1-1 draw with Paris Saint-Germain on Sunday night.
The Italian striker was replaced after just seven minutes of the game after twisting his knee in the Principality clash.
It’s unclear at this stage how serious the problem is, but Italy boss Marcello Lippi will be concerned.
The tactician, despite what a large section of the media believe when it comes to Bobo, is a massive fan of Vieri and the player looks almost certain to be included in the World Cup squad if fit.

Vieri joined Monaco in the January transfer window in order to play more first team football after spending the first six months of his Milan stint on the bench.
Without Vieri, Monaco failed to get the win which could potentially kick-start their campaign in Ligue 1.
They fell behind to a Paulo Cesar goal, before former Lecce striker Ernesto Chevanton – who replaced Vieri – netted a 51st minute equaliser.
A win would have lifted the pressure on Italian boss Francesco Guidolin who is tipped to be replaced at the end of term.
The former Vicenza, Bologna and Palermo tactician only arrived midway through the current campaign when he replaced former Juve midfielder Didier Deschamps.
